Graduated from Waseda University / New York Film Academy.
A Japanese director who started his career in New York as full-time TV editor and freelance filmmaker. At that time, he spent time with enthusiastic friends to talk about independent films.
He is influenced by world’s film directors such as Wim Wenders (Germany), Jim Jarmusch (U.S.), Wong Kar Wai (China), Roy Andersson (Sweden) or Aki Kaurismaki (Finland). His preference is “DRY HUMOR” regardless of the genre.
He went back to Tokyo and joined AOI Pro. Inc, as planner/ director. One of his video “Tokyo Train Story” is selected in Brain Online Video Award.
After he joined Directors Think Tank, he managed to direct different varieties of commercials from comedy to drama, short to long length. Fortunately, his short film script was selected in ADFEST 2019, Fabulous 5 category.
He always wants to collaborate with people in all over the world, with all the different contents, and with their own unique ideas.
